Plans and designs
The case had to be as neat and functional as possible. I wanted to use 140mm fans on the front and also on the back side of the case. To do this I had to design the case in a manner that made room for those fans in addition to creating two large sections with enough room for dual 140mm-fan radiators and a triple 120mm-fan radiator. The bottom section had to be much taller than most other cases - my theory is that when aluminium is next or near to heat sources, it absorbs the heat and transfers it to other parts of the case, rather than allowing the air passing through the case remove it.

The case was planned to maximise the space available for cable management with a focus on lots of ventilation, strategically placed for maximum heat dissipation. There would also be a special department for the reservoir and pump. I also planned to will work with a friend called Chris Kozis, on the acrylic parts to create a reservoir and many other things that I will show later on.

The basic materials for this scratch build were aluminium, acrylic and stainless steel. Most of the job was done by using laser and CNC machines. Here are some of the designs I did using Corel Draw and other 3D modelling programs.
